Gregson Community & Arts Centre Open Day

Since the pandemic the Gregson Community & Arts Centre has been reimagined. Drop in and explore what happens here!

There are now over 50 regular groups, with everything from dance and art classes, film clubs and drama groups.

The Gregson team is excited to open its doors to you during the Health Festival. 

Some of the centre's regular groups will be on hand to offer free taster sessions and to tell you about their work. The charity will also be holding its annual AGM, giving you the chance to find out more about the centre and how you can get involved.

In a world that seems increasingly disconnected, where more of us feel isolated and where community can seem in decline, the Gregson is a beacon of hope.

We believe it is crucial that our community has a place to come together. We know that community and arts participation is good for our community’s mental health - it is everyone’s right to create and take part in community life and culture, in all its diversity. The Gregson makes that happen.
