About the Event

Musical Director and voice specialist Loz Kaye leads a discussion on the impact of COVID on community singing.

Singing groups are an important part of Lancashire's cultural scene, they are a popular leisure activity and an important part of community wellbeing. But like everything, the pandemic has had a profound effect on singing groups and choirs, not least on their ability to meet, but also how they work and their members. We will reflect on the last 2 years, explore the current situation, look at potential challenges to inclusivity and what we do next.

Suitable for all with an interest in grassroots activity, but particularly singers, choir leaders, health professionals, community activists and leaders.
