Mio Gelato

miogelato is based in morecambe and is part of the miaitalia family of businesses, which includes miaitalia pizzeria in nearby bolton-le-sands and miamio pizza & gelato street cafe on morecambe promenade. directors david and jon had been making gelato at miaitalia in bolton-le-sands for around eighteen months before opening miogelato from premises on queen street, morecambe.  miogelato supplies miaitalia and miamio with their gelato range, as well as supplying other businesses, across the lancaster & morecambe district and north west. the aim at miogelato was always to produce the best quality gelato, using the finest raw ingredients – our efforts were rewarded when our base flavour ‘crema’  won ‘best newcomer’ at the 2018 u.k ice cream alliance championships.
